Fountain Hills Arts and Crafts Festival

Wow, for our Friday adventure, we headed off to Fountain Hills, east of Scottsdale. Each year they have a three day event with 500 artisans of all types. This event is a BIG DEAL. It was a holiday here, so there were ALOT of people.

We wondered if we would be able to make it through the whole event, but by being a bit picky about what we looked at, we made it through in just under five hours.

We settled back into the condo for the evening to reflect on which types of art inspired us most, and what influence it would have on us forward. We discussed the merits of remaining in Scottsdale indefinetly, but realized Laura would miss us (we think anyway), and although I could probably take care of quite a bit of my responsibilities at Abundant Life remotely, that we would miss the connectedness of actually attending the services and seeing the people first hand. So alas, we will be returning to Portland.
